Dinosaur Journey Museum

A dinosaur experience you shouldn't miss! See real fossils and casts of articulated skeletons, uncover bones in the kids' quarry, watch life-like animated dinosaurs stomp and roar, feel a 5.2 earthquake, and observe a working paleontology lab. Dinosaur Digs are run during the summer.

Gateway Colorado Auto Museum
The Gateway Colorado Auto Museum tells the story of automotive history and the revolution in personal transportation brought about by the invention, production and marketing of the American automobile. This story is so broad in scope that it takes a 30,000 square foot facility to house more than 40 cars in all.

Museum of Western Colorado's Cross Orchards Historic Site
Turn of the 20th century apple orchard where costumed interpreters demonstrate day-to-day tasks, such as blacksmithing, woodworking, and woodstove cooking. See a unique collection of vintage farm artifacts and full-size Uintah Narrow Gauge Railway exhibit. Guided tours and group rates are available.

Museum of Western Colorado's Museum of the West
Follow the region’s timeline through immersive exhibits including a one-room schoolhouse and full-size uranium mine. Temporary exhibits change regularly. The educational tower features a spectacular view of the valley and interpretive exhibit panels. The research library has an extensive collection of photos and manuscripts.
