Horse Back Riding

• McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area, Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness Area: Ride the rims above sheer canyons and coves of red and gold, or venture into the canyon bottoms harboring desert wildlife (1 hour to 1/2 day).

• Saddles & Paddles: Ride the scenic trails near the Colorado National Monument in the morning. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing raft trip on the Colorado River (full day).

• Little Bookcliffs Wild Horse Area: Find wild mustangs in the badlands of this preserve.

• Flattops Wilderness: Enjoy mountain air and scenery in this vast wilderness.
